Wait…There’s Life North of Kennedy?

Believe it or not, to many Tampa residents – life stops north of Kennedy Blvd. Carrollwood is often considered the “boondocks” where boring old married folk and their kids are put out to pasture. It’s commonly (although discretely) thought that the “best” neighborhoods, restaurants, shops, attractions and sites are in South Tampa or Pinellas – but certainly not “up here.” After all, we’re just a “bunch of chain shops with no real culture or personality.”
As a Tampa native born and raised in Carrollwood, I take offense to how our part of town is often viewed and specifically located our advertising firm in the heart of this area “instead” of South Tampa with a real purpose.
Aside from obvious financial goals – Aura Advertising hopes to change the mindset associated with North Tampa by helping businesses attract customers from both South Tampa and Pinellas. As business owners, why limit our base to Carrollwood when there are millions of new potential customers just a few short miles away? All it takes is the right approach, message, incentive and media connections to bring customers in droves.
Unfortunately, the cost of reaching mass audiences continues to grow. Because of this, Aura has been meeting with every major media outlet on both sides of the Bay to discuss unique ways to make advertising our North Tampa businesses more affordable. In the next few weeks, you’ll begin receiving new types of opportunities that – by working together – allow us to have a presence in very high-end media outlets for a fraction of what it would normally cost.
From print to TV to radio to billboards, Aura will go above and beyond to boost your business while increasing awareness of the North Tampa/Carrollwood area.
We’ll talk soon –
